Why does my pocket bike die when going up hills? [10 points 2 best answer]?

well its a 47cc cag
i think its a fuel problem> maybe dirty fuel filter or dirty carb.

what do you think?

Have you checked the air and fuel filters?, if you can find the fuel filter,I had the same trouble with my 110 cc Honda, as I didn't have the handbook, but it made a world of difference when I did.
If it is a 2 stroke take off your exhaust at the pot end and see if you have build up in the outlet, or exhaust, I've also had this problem. Best of luck.

you probably have some grit in the carb, take it off pull the pin out that holdsthe floats, then clean out the small hole with some straight petrol, the carb works like a toilet system if this helps. if this doesent work then you might be pushing it to hard, try starting off quicker before you hit the hill it will put less pressure on the engine.

yea or it could be the airfilter check that cos they get well dirty
