I have a pocket bike and the fuel for some reason doesnt go through so the bike doesnt start what do i do?

thanks we have had some on look at it and they couldnt find a promblem and we cleaned it all and everything but 4 some reason it dosent go to the right spot it just says there so when i pull start it just sparks and thats it.

Is fuel reaching the carburettor? If not, then there is a block in the line somewhere --- maybe a fuel filter or the petcock.

If fuel is reaching the carburettor, then you probably have a carb problem. Either the carb is dirty, or not adjusted properly.

A service manual for your bike would be a great assist in fixing the bike though.

Take the tank off, check for a blockage. If there is none, check your fuel tap, make sure it is working (take the hose of the end that goes into the carb and see if fuel runs out when you turn the tap on) Before that though, blow through your hose and make sure it is not blocked. If none of those things work it is time to get someone to look at the carb.

have you left it sitting for 2 or more months? The fuel will go bad (get gummy) after 2 months of sitting. My husband works at a motorcycle shop & this is the most common repair that they do. The carbs will need to be taken off and cleaned. The clearance for the jets in those is so close that any little piece of dirt will clog the fuel lines, as well as "bad gas". If you leave it sitting for any length of time, he recommends turning the fuel off & then let the bike run out of gas prior to storage. Hope that helps. Good luck
