My boyfriend put a pocket bike in there and the whole tank of petrol spilt everywhere. The whole car stinks. Even apples I had in the front of the car had to be thrown out because they taste like petrol. I am open to any suggestions no matter how far out they are!!! It's killing me and my kids being in the car for five minutes. Thanks
I'm not sure if this will work on petrol smells...but I have used it to absorb other odours.....Get some plain Charcoal Briquettes ( the ones that don't have starter fuel in them )...place them in an open box...and put it in your car and boot. The Charcoal absorbs a lot of the smell or odour. You might also sprinkle some Arm & Hammer Baking Soda in the boot. Let it set there for a couple of hours then vacumn it out.
Take it to a professional detailer. It costs around $100 here, but hey, make the bf foot the bill.
