Ticketed on a pocketbike need help? |
Recently I purchased a pocket bike (mini motorcycle) It's engine is 49 cc so supposedly it does not qualify as a motorcycle, yet I was pulled over and ticketed as if it could have been a legal vehicle. I am resident of Ontario I recieved four (4) tickets Fail to signal turn - Highway Traffic Act (HTA) sect. 142 (1) Drive motor Vehicle - No plates - HTA 7 (1)(b)(1) Drive motor Vehicle - No permit - HTA 7 (1)(a) Fail to Surrender Insurance - Compulsory Automobile Insurance Act (CAIA) 3 (1) Here are some links to the HTA and CAIA sites http://www.e-laws.gov.on.ca/dblaws/statu... http://www.e-laws.gov.on.ca/dblaws/statu...
