Many states don't even let human propelled bicycles ride on the sideWALK. What makes you think a 45+ MPH motor would be allowed? Unless you buy the light kit for it. Second you cannot ride on the sidewalk,or the street without fore mentioned light kit, there for you don't need a license. Yes the police will stop you and I'm not sure where you are but here it is a $300 fine for not having insurance and they will take the bike. You're not even supposed to ride a bicycle on the sidewalk. These are not street legal and are intended for use on private property only. no..your not supposed to be on sidewalks with these....you gotta treat them just like a regular scooter...they need lights and signals.....but since it is under 50cc you dont need a license....depending on the cop you may get hassled if they see you on the streets with it.....bu tthey are fun ;) |
