Pit bikes?????????????????????????...

hi does anyone know if pit bikes are suppose to be small.
Or when you buy one should you get one that fits your sise

True pit bikes have either a 10" or 12" rear wheel. Yes that is very small. And I wouldn't say pit bikes are not racing bikes. Pit bike racing has become a fast growing sport. Just take a look at the $10,000 BBR's, they ain't for playing.

Some people modify them with different bars and kits to make them faster but they are only a small bike and as the name suggests to get around the pits. Or that was traditionally what they were for.
I think you can buy bigger swing arms for them to make them a bit bigger and there are big bore kits to make them faster. Plus just about any after market item you can think of as they are now big business

Pit bikes are not RACING bikes.

Im sure you have posted this in the forum.

i wouldnt waste my money on a pit bike......chances are that while you are at a race, there is NO riding of any machine in the pits......
