Can i leave the petrol flow on my 110cc pit bike on permenantly? |
like over night and wen im not using it? its so anoying turning it off and on and off and on. im only 12 i gotta worry about the gears etc lol thanks. Shut it off No. Shut it off when not in use. Leaving it on can cause problems to the fuel system. Back in the late '70s my buddy had a beautiful Triumph Trident, You dont even know what that is. He left his gas on, the carbs flooded down overnight. When he kicked it over the next morning it went up in flames.Beautiful bike it was. Pitty. its a cheep poket bike anyway so who cares leav it open over night but if your not using it for a few days shut it off. its not a big deal. what is there 3 gears at most not een a clutch when i was 12 i was driving a yz125 and i could shut the gas off every nite. I have a 2005 klx110 and all my machines i never turn off the gas unless there going into a trailer etc, ive never had a problem with any of my bikes, quads or snowmachines. besides once you turn it off there is still fuel in the line anyway so i dont see the point as long as they dont leak. You should be fine. But its up to you. |
