If you were really, really good this year, and Santa brought you one pit pass....?

to any race, in any series, anywhere in the world for 2008, Where would you choose? And Why?

And while you were being wined and dined in V.I.P. section, would you try and sneak into the garage, sit on the bike and make "vrooooooom, brrooommmmm, brmmmm - eeeeeeeeechchchc " noises?

Merry Christmas race fans!

Hello All,

To answer my own question - I would tell santa I've been extra good and get two - one to Japan - Motegi. 'cos I love sushi, never been there and the tracks fantastic (have done it on the playstation!!)

The other one I would want is to Laguna Seca - but while that seems a mad track, I would really like to take a camper van/tent out into the dessert and see some of the endurance racing they have out there (and maybe get a chance to jump off some dunes myself- wheyy heeyyyyy!)

will leave this one for you to vote on.... have a great xmas break.

This sounds like your Xmas wish, Well Dingo..... I would go where ever you were going. But, I would be the "naked man" running around during the pre-race ceremonies(after a few pints) because I'm retarded like that.

Hi Dingo. Montegi. Always want to go to Japan. and Yes i would do the Vrooooom Vrroom bit. All the way there, all the time there and all the way back. i am doing it now thinking of the possibility.

Sorry... Merry christmas to you too.

Dingo Honey, you are the best !

I would like a pit pass when you throw another BBQ in the summer!

Other then that, I would settle for a time machine to go back to the the arly 1990's and watch the top boy go round the Salztberg A1 ring.

Nearly as fast as Hockhiem, but with more corners.

As for todays circuits, our good friend above nailed it on the head. Twin Ring Montegi has to be the dogs nuts. Why not throw in the Suzuka 8 hr just for fun aswell.

Have a very good Xmas, all your [ real ] racing fans.

Italy because it's has water and canoes for roads, plus i was born there..... Aslo for any race i'd go to the Harley Davidson race marathon

there are too many to mention.
can I have 5?????

1. Daytona bike week.....
2. Formula1 Grand Prix of Monaco
3. 24 hours of Le Mans
4. Motocross des Nations
5. NASCAR Daytona 500

Hi Dingo!! Merry Christmas to you and all the other regular guys too xxx (wiggy, shuggie, proc, real roads, mick f etc)

I am so biased, but I have to say Italy as the atmosphere is fantastic and the racing is great!! Yes, I would sit on the bikes making all the noises (we got to sit on Vale's 125 bike in Tavullia and yes, I did make all the noises lol!!) I'm a bit sad like that!

Would also like to visit Motegi, Sachsenring and Assen, but definately Mugello first!

Sorry for any spelling mistakes, as I have just been out and have had a few too many :)

Hi Dingo

It would have to be Moto Gp or Wsbk at Phillip Island. I've always fancied visiting Australia, and its not too far to go and see my sister in New Zealand.

And yes of course I'd try and sneak a sit on one of the bikes and make vroooooom vrooooom noises. You'd have to be a right weirdo not to do that!

Merry Christmas, hope Santa is good to you. (I'm sure you're on his nice list anyway)

And a merry Christmas and a happy, prosperous new year to all the race fans out there.

Hi Dingo! I've always wanted to go to Italy, so I would choose to go to the Mugello race.
I wish I could go to all the motogp races...

Merry Christmas to you and to all race funs!

Isle of Mann TT, of course! I wouldn't mind if a plane ticket and a few pub vouchers were thrown in, thank you much!

No matter how extremely good I was, I'm still not getting a pit pass... so sad :(

but if I had actually the chance to receive one and choose were, I would say either for the race in the UK or Italy.
Italy will be most fun to watch. It is the home race of Rossi and he always makes the other riders crazy on that track!

As for the UK track (I have a hard time writing the name of it :)) would be also fun to watch. Although there is the huge chance that it will be raining I still think it'll be lots of fun! And I do have to admit that I will enjoy my time in the country too!

As for sitting on the bike, I guess I won't be able to believe that I am actually near one of those beasts! And probably will do everything to get on the track, even if I'm not the one riding it! :))
