Have you ever rode a motorcycle before? I don't mean to belittle you but you truly sound confused. Here's the gig, ALL factory motorcycles for public consumption have the same basic shift pattern and have had since the late 60's or so. As follows; 1st, neutral,2nd,3rd,4th,5th,6th. This was done to alleviate accidents due to people riding a bike with one shift pattern and then getting on a different brand and hitting the wrong gear at the wrong time. There are "factory" bikes with different shift patterns but they are RACE bikes and not street legal.
