I want to get a pit bike. What kind should I get? Something like an XL 100. Just big enough to ride double, yet small enough to move around easily. 4 stroke, no mixing, and street legal if you need to make a beer or parts run. Whats a pit bike? Personally I liked my Yamaha Zuma scooter, no farkin clutch to mess with when moving stuff like a set of forks, or a couple pair of rims which means a hand to help stablize. Tons of under-seat storage (for hauling the aformentioned Beer... ;) and pretty damn durable. I started out on a Yamaha YSR50 and moved to the Zuma after a Very short peroid of time as it was infinatly more useful. I've also seen Lots of people take the 50cc 'kids' ATVs and use them for pit-bikes, often hooking up a utility trailer to moving parts/fuel/wheels/tires even easier. Most people I see, though, are on the cheapest scooter they can find. A few are on things like the YSR, or some small dirtbike, and only the boys with tons of spare hauling space have the ATVs. Pagsta chopper they are great I got 3 of them and fun to ride and bags to put stuff in! honda definatly its the only way to go I have an Orion AGB 29-125. This thing rips! You can also get parts if you need them. I got mine at www.orionpitbikesales.com and they have all the parts too. |
