Hi can someone please tell me how to service a 125cc pit bike? MANY THANKS? the only thing that I ever need to do on mine is change the oil (no filter), tighten and lube the chain as well as other moving parts, and someday I might have to change the sparkplug and clean the carbs but it's been almost a decade so it may never happen. If it helps mine is a 250cc 6 horsepower tecumseh with a torque converter. basic stuff matey im guessing its a four stroke? oil change, oil filter change (if you have one) change air filter (or clean it if you cant replace it) check bearings, and replace if nessacery fork seal replacement check spark plug gaps/replace spark plugs clean all the nitty gritty filth off it then grease all moving parts should be like new ;) Stupid question. What kind of bike? What kind of service? Greneral or specific? two stroke or four? I can't tell you anything with that generic of a question. here is a good website to learn about Motorcycle maintenance. all of the things here are based on the Kawasaki EX250, but the idea is the same across the board. if you want a quick answer from the forums, good luck. they will all tell you to go to this paige:http://faq.ninja250.org/wiki/main_page... happy hunting, http://faq.ninja250.org/wiki/main_page... |
