I want to exchange my very recently bought road bike for a mountain bike. Do any websites/places offer this? |
Just three weeks ago I bought a beautiful Bianchi road bike but have since decided to focus on mountain biking. Assuming bikes, like cars, lose significant value when bought, I am seeking some website or place (preferably in the greater NYC area) that may arrange such transactions. If anyone has an idea, please advise. Thank you. Craig's list Source(s): newyork.craigslist.org/ yes everywhere. first id try to offer it back to where you bought it from, then id try craigs list or ebay. you are doing the right thing though!!! wood you trade personally? i have a custom MTB at a value of about $2000. if ur interested email me. freerida@sbcglobal.net You can try to sell your bike on one of the auction sites, but shipping may become an issue. It will cost a lot to ship and is fairly risky, make sure you insure it for replacement value if you go that route. For the same reasons, I don't think that I would buy a bicycle over the internet. In fact, the manufacturers won't even do it. Plus, is it that smart to buy a machine that you haven't actually laid your eyes or hands on to evaluate? Buy your bike at a bike shop. If your Bianchi is still perfect, a dealer might be willing to make a trade or sell it on consignment. |
