What is a reasonably priced strong, reliable mountain bike?

I need a new mountain bike and don't want to pay more than 拢200. All the ones I've had in the past seem to break too easily - so am looking for a strong one. Can anyone recommend a model, brand or any other place on the web I can find some helpful information?

Go to any local bike-specific shop. While you will pay more for a bike there, it will be much stronger and reliable compared to your "big-box" retail stores. I don't know the retail prices for bikes outside the US, but anything from Trek, Specialized, Giant, Cannondale, etc. will be good brands. Also when you buy a bike from a bike shop, generally they will throw in free maintenance for a year or general tune-ups.
Huffy is no.1
get a 2nd hand one , used or sumthing, bikes r too expensive..
I've had a Trek for years. It's great!
just about any bike you buy for 200 pounds (approx 300 US) is not going to give you strong and reliable riding... you will need to spend a little more for quality and durability...
check out KHS, Trek, Specialized, and Giant.
