What are the ratings by various critics on the Mercedes Mountain Bike and approx cost? |
I want to buy one for my husband for Christmas, but haven't been able to find a "consumer reports" type of report on it. I also cannot seem to find a price. Googling and other searches lead mostly to Mercedes dealerships with little bike info and "come in and ask your dealer"-type answers to pricing, etc. My husband is 6 ft. 2 in., 190 lbs, pretty athletic, but wants a "very comfortable, safe, mountain bike with big, fat, tires". I have no idea what he means about the tires. Any bikes I saw through ebay were extremely expensive for shipping, so that's out. And I would need to have someone put it together. Any ideas? Suggestion: I try to bike every day and I'm 75. You are a darling to be so though full, but let your husband make his own purchase (like buying a car). Source(s): from experience You are right about the shipping,it's about $100! Just look up bicycles shops in the yellow pages and buy one of their best. He'll be happy! or he can take it back and pick his own. Does it have giant tristars on the wheels? Kinda pimpy... |
