Id like to get a reasonable set of wheels for my mountain bike, I remember my friend got a secondhand wheel from a bike shop in Leith a long long time ago but I asked in a bike shop in Leith walk but they dont sell second hand parts at all.
My front wheel is slightly buckeled and has some corrosion and the rear wheel has some loose spokes and also some corrosion.
The reason I dont want to spend a lot on the bike is I was given it for free. Its just a cheap no frills bike So Id almost be as well getting a new 拢80 cheap and nasty rather than repair this bike. I just want to use it for a bit to see how I get on and what direction I am going to take with reguards to cycling.
There's a place that recycles (geddit?) bikes, and it's in Waverley Station, called The Bike Station. They might be able to help you. in fact, I've just found an article saying they've opened up on Causewayside and moved out of the station, so maybe you should go that way instead!
