Can I put 26" inch tires/rims on a 24" inch frame mountain bike?

I won a 24 inch mountain bike, but I would like to put on bigger 26 inch tires, is this possible?

Highly unlikely. Bike frames and forks are made with out enough clearance for this. Aside from that, the brakes would not be able to be adjusted to hit the rim. The pedals would likely be too close to the front tire as well allowing your toes to hit the front tire when turning.

You could maybe actually get 26" on if you went from a 2" wide knobbie to a 1 or 1 1/4" tire (they are not only narrower but smaller all around) But you would still have brake issues.
I'd be happy just to ride what you have. If not, try finding someone who might like to make a trade.

No it's not. The wheels nor the frame will accomodate a larger tire size.
No.
