Can you put disk brakes on the dj100 mountain bike?

There are two things you need to check to see.

1. Are the hubs disc compatible. There will be 6 holes for the rotor to be mounted on the left side of the hub.

2. Does the frame have mounting brackets. the fork does, I saw it in a picture, but you just need to check the rear.

If your frame can have disc brakes mounted and your wheels cannot, you'd need to replace the hubs or wheels. Source(s): work in a bike shop

you can mount a front disc but you will have to check for the mounts on the rear yourself.
