Trek 3700 mountain bike. For a once / week ride. Good bike? |
Purchasing this bike probably tommorow for my wife how will ride it about 1 or 2 times a week. Like the price point and I think it should stand up to the low demands she will put on it. Would you recommend this bike or another one? Thanks It looks good, and kudos on choosing a bike from a shop. New, right? Because fit is everything, a bike shop person should do that for free. One might consider the WSD version, because women are "generally" longer legged and shorter torso'ed than men. She might like that. Then again, the non-WSD is better looking. Looks are about 90 percent of the fun at that point, right? Is it a surprize for her?? If it's not, you better let her try it before you buy it, because the height may be different. Is she just using that bike for road use?? if yes, I recommend you to buy her eight a comfort bike or road bike. Good luck Buy a good used bike. Dont spend that kind of money for a Trek. |
