Should i get a mountain bike or a bmx bike? |
i'd use it for just riding around and maybe a short bike ride every now and then a good solid road bike sounds like your deal. if you鈥檙e just looking to get around look for a comfortable seat, handle bars that allow you to peddle while sitting comfortably, and something that is in your price range do it up. the gearing is set up for hills and distance and will look far less goofy than a cramped bmx bike. now if you鈥檙e looking for a ride that is fun all around riding around town and off road, go for the mt bike. with enough speed you can ride up stares without risking a pinch and or truck through your favorite stretch of woods at a park or local aria. the gearing i set up for distances and terrain. if you鈥檙e not planning on back flipping, whipping, or throwing some slides down hand rails on your way to where ever you鈥檙e going i wouldn鈥檛 suggest a bmx bike. bmx bikes aren鈥檛 known for their comfort for riding distances and they look like a burnt out hobo ride for people out of their 20s. the best nit of advice i can give you is to get something you can afford that gets you from point A to point B comfortably. Source(s): born on wheels I'd say it depends on how old you are. For an adult, a mountain bike. For children, a BMX. You decide. |
