What should I buy for a mountain bike? |
I would like to get into the sport and I would like a "good" bike. I was looking into bikes like Specialized, Kona, and Cannondale. Which type and/or model would be the best to buy with a reasonable price. It really depends on 'what' type of riding you'll be doing and how much of it. If you're just planning on being a weekend warrior and just want something decent to ride then you could get away with a lower end bike like the IronHorse Warrior or something like that. If you're looking at seriously getting into the sport and spending some serious coin, then the options are limitless. Check out this site and sign up to post some questions. Good luck! a helmet get a diamond back they are the best. i had one for 5 years and it still looks like new Well Kona's being a Canadian brand are made for the mountain. However if you have looked at the price you might find it quiet high. Best is probably to get a nice bike for around 1k and modify it ie. add dic brakes , rock shox boxxers (my favorite) and other stuff like that. Or you could get a bike with all that stuff for around 2-3k. Specialized also makes really tough bikes. Sorry about the model: Kona Stinky is one of the best. |
