I am 31 years old and used to be a fairly avid mountain biker. Now, I'm looking for something that will perform well on the trails, but will also work well for commuting to work on city streets. The trail riding will not be particularly intense.
I am 6'2" and 190. The budget is something under $900. Any recommendations greatly appreciated!
When I came back into the sport, I went with a Gary Fisher Tassajara. The bike was great, never had any problems with it. I rode it every where. The only thing that I wish it had was disc brakes. I would suggest checking the tassajara disc model.
A jamis cross country 3, it's a good bike and its not expensive
