What the best mountain bike to buy; Motobecane, Specialized or Trek.? |
What the best mountain bike to buy; Motobecane, Specialized or Trek.? I've beat the living **** out of my NORCO and its still in one piece, a few friend have done much worse to their NORCO's and they all love them. A few of my other friends have KONA's and they all are put through extreme abuse and have not had any problems with them. Out of the three, i would rate them Specialized, trek, Motobecane (who I have never heard of). I would personally look for a NORCO or a KONA. Of the three, I would rate them: Specialized Trek Motobecane it depends on if you are an uphiller or downhiller and how much you are willing to spend. those three bikes are definitely not the top of the line, but some models are good. If you are a downhiller then i would suggest the Intense. it has amazing shocks and adds speed due to its weight. If you are an uphiller i would suggest a Santa Cruz Blur with special features up to you. Good Luck with your new bike P.S. I have a GT 3.0 that was about $1000, cheep for a good bike Three good makers. Each make many different bikes. Go for the one you fit on the best and best fits your needs. You don't need a top end bike unless you are competing. If you go to cheap you will be replacing components too regularly. Work out which level componentry suits you.
