I want a mountain bike, what kind should i get?


i WAS THINKING between iron horse and Haro, specifically the haro extreme x1 2005 and the iron horse yocan somthing or another, it is a wierd name but it is like 800$ and 2005 also, just wondering which on i should get.

Not familiar with the ones you mentioned, but try to log in to www.mtbr.com for a comprehensive review of both bikes.

If it were up to me, I would get a Giant NRS3. These bikes are cheap but have good components and good suspension.

I am buying a 2005 Iron Horse MKIII Hollowpoint Comp bike this week.
In answer to your question, start going to bike shops and looking around, start reading up on bikes:
1 - buy magazines,
2 - go to websites of potential manufacturers,
3 - go to bike shop where brand is sold, ask questions, get fitted. (<- Most important.)
Research is key.
