Who has the better mountain bike: Gary Fisher or Trek? |
Who has the better mountain bike: Gary Fisher or Trek? -Well, TREK owns Gary Fisher ,Bontrager and Icon. Gary Fisher makes awesome XC bikes and he has come up with some really inovative and unique frame designs that work great. -IMO, TREK has a larger selction of Mountain Bikes and they also have a line of stout All Mountian and Freeride/Downhill bikes like the Remedy and Session. I like Freeriding and DH, so I would choose TREK, but Gary Fisher also has xlnt bikes. -Go check out each manufactures website and go to your LBS and try out the models you like. What's great is that all three give you a lifetime frame warranty to the original owner. Fisher. Gary Fisher is a Trek subsidiary, so their products are evenly matched for quality. What sets them apart is that Fishers and Treks have slightly different frame geometry. Ride them both - chances are that one brand will feel more comfortable to you and that brand, for you, will be the better bike. Gary Fisher & Trek are the same company...However Gary Fisher is a more premium brand, and lasts longer than normal trek bikes i would go with gary fisher they are a little bit cheaper than trek as far as cost...and they hold up nice gary fisher is more about mountain bikes while trek is more towards road bikes. both will suit your needs i expect as you seem to not be to worried about weight and other specifications. check your local shop for bikes they carry and their opinion based on you |
