What is the best mountain bike out now? it all depends on what type of riding your doing XC (fully)-giant Trance DH-Sinister R9 or IH Sunday or Turner DHR Freeride-Purgatory Bikes Harry Knuckles or Giant reign X All mountain-Yeti 575 street/urban/park-Sinister DNA or Black Market MOB these are just a few IMO o get it at wall-mart :) Mine. And you can't have it. this one can take some super crazy jumps http://www.specialized.com/bc/sbcbkmodel... You'll never get a consise answer to this Q. Everybody will have their preferences. And also, how much is your budget? You can easily get into the 5,000 - 8,000 bucks arena for this. Also, it depends on what you want to dowith your bike and how much money you have, and also your fit. Not all bikes are the same sizes, and some might fit you better than others. XC stuff, there are several here, Titus Racer-X Exogrid, Ventana El Saltamontes (you have to see a Ventana, the quality is amazing), Turner Flux, Moots, Seven, Jeff Jones (he's a frame builder, it takes about a year to get one of his frames, but he builds it for you). Trail riding, all mountain, XC extreme or whatever you want to clasify this: Titus Moto Lite, Titus El Guapo, Santa Cruz Nomad, Turner 5 Spot, Turner RFX, Ventana El Ciclon, Ventana X-5, Intense 5.5, Intense 6.6, and some others. Freeride, there are a lot here, I don't really know much about them, but look at the usual suspects (Turner, Santa Cruz VP-Free, Intense, Ellsworth). Downhill (same as above). Scott (above) says his is the best, I beg to differ, mine is the best and you can't have mine either! |
