How much would a rockhopper comp mountain bike of cost me in 2002?

$870 US was original 2002 price tag for Specialized Rockhopper A1 Comp bike.

Prices have come down somewhat over the last couple of years - or they've decided to put slightly less on the frame in the way of components.
