i want disc brakes front and back and front suspension. Nothing 'decent' and new for 拢200, especially not with discs and suspension. You'd be really disappointed with whatever you got as it'd fall apart (or rust) on your first trip off road. If I were you I'd either sae a little more or get friendly with your local bike shop and see if they'll do you a deal on a decent second hand one. There's some great bargains around (as second hand bikes don't hold their value well) but you need to make sure the bike hasn't been badly crashed or is stolen... You know another dumb American. But...For a decent full suspension MTB w/discs you will need to spend at least $800. KHS, GIANT, SPECIALIZED all make great bikes in this price range with good components. Start with a good stable platform(frame and shock) you can always upgrade the components later. Good luck. |
