Does anyone know any tricks or tips for mountain bike racing?

Stay on the inside, keep pedleing OVER and when IN THE AIR, because it will propell you foreward, and you will be going at the same speed or faster than everyone else when you are over that part of the course!

Well i mountain bike and i think the best trick is catching air! lol
learn how to pump over and through everything, stay on the inside, pedal like a madman, and never let em see you bleed. lol
Train on the road, race in the dirt.
when jumping try to land on both tires landing on the rear really tears up the bike
