mine is almost non-existant cause its so stiff, i need to put a softer one that would better absorb all the bumps
well you don't NEED to change out your fork, you can do a few things. If your fork has air assist you can lower your psi, also look into getting new springs and a lighter weight oil. I suggest going to you local bike shop and tell them the problem your dealing with and see what they can do to help you...worst case buy a new fork that can be fully tuned to get the feel your looking for. I always loved women that know what they are talking about when it comes to bikes, and the answer above me is one of them! Unless you are very handy with tools and know what you are doing, changing your front-suspension is a job left for the professionals. Basically if you have to ask how to change your front-suspension, don't do it yourself. Also, by going to your local bike store, they can help you determine if you need a new fork and what brand/model of fork to replace it with.
