I need help choosing a build kit for the mountain bike I'm building?

I just bought a Yeti ARC frame, and I'm going to build it. I think a build kit would be better and quicker than buying the individual components, but I'd go for a second opinion.
I get totally overwhelmed when I'm looking, because I don't know a whole lot yet. I do know that I want the highest quality components for the least amount of money. I'm totally willing to buy a lower model item if it performs exactly the same but weighs more, but I don't want to compromise much on quality and performance because I don't want to speand a ton of money replacing of fixing things.

I paid $300 for the frame, and would love to buy a build kit for around $600 or $700.

I'm a senior in high school, so I'm also saving for college, so the less money spent, the better.

Thank you so much for your time!

You will get an awesome set of components with SRAM X7 or X9 shifters/derailluers, RaceFace Evolve XC cranks/stem/seatpost/bar, Mavic CrossRide wheels and Avid BB7 disc brakes.

As far as the fork goes, look on ebay, or craigslist. The MTBR.com classifieds are also a good source for parts. Marzocchi makes a pretty good fork in your price range.

The most important components are the wheels, and you kind of build around that.

The Sette brand on Pricepoint has gotten pretty solid reviews in most of the MTB mags I've seen.

Hope this helps!
At that price range I'd recommend a SRAM build kit from either Price Point (www.pricepoint.com) or Jenson Cycles (www.jensonusa.com).

An XT kit is going to be more expensive, and the SRAM kits are overall better quality than an LX kit.

Have fun!
You could go with this kit. It's a LX level kit for around 600 bucks. It is the cheapest on JensonUSA, and on pricepoint they are similarly priced.

You would also need a fork.. which is an important part. I'm not sure if the ARC frame is XC, which would go with a 80 to 100mm fork, or more all mountian, for a 100-130 fork.

You could look at somewhere between 200 to 300 for a nice fork, Rock Shox Tora could be a nice option.
Shimano Xt package from Security bike. they always have the best deals on groupos. And go with a Marzocchi fork. They are by far the easiest to maintain and they are very sturdy. You might also check with the shops around town. If they have to do a frame swap for someone they might have a groupo laying around and cut you a deal since nothing will be in OEM packaging.
