I'm looking to buy a new fork for my mountain bike. I don't want to spend over $300.00.?

Any suggestions? I'm interested in the Rock Shox tora but I don't know much about them.

First, I need to know what kind of riding you do. I am assuming cross country because you mentioned the rockshox tora. The rockshox tora is a nice fork for under 300, and I also recommend the Marzocchi MX pro. It retails for under 300, and you can dish out some extra bucks to get the ETA version, which is nice if you do a lot of hill climbing. If you know how to install the fork by yourself, you can save money and find some good deals online. If you don't, its better off to leave it to the shop. Usually the shop installs it for free if you buy it from them. A nice website to do research on forks is mtbr.com. It has a lot of user reviews. Source(s): mtbr.com
Anything marzocchi is good. Drop offs are pretty sweet. Check craigslist.com
