How do i tune gears on a mongoose 21 speed mountain bike?
it should be basically the same as any other bike, on the drailia (spelling?) where the cogs are and the arm is there will be 2 screws..on the actual arm. If i can remember rightly the top one pushes the arm more towards the wheel and the bottom one more towards the frame, just adjust it to where it is right, but a little clicking noise is normal when you have it in certain gears. That's the back, the front is almost the same but there will be 2 screws where the gears connect to the frame of your bike to push the thing around your chain more or less over than it already goes. hope i helped you.
you cant really tune the gears because you need to either change those little gear things the chain runs on at the back of the bike.
