I know the crankset is 170mm but I dont know the size of the bottom bracket. I know that the BB is a TruVativ Power Spline but I dont know if those come in more than one size? If I take the BB out will it tell the size on it?
Measure the shell width of the frame, this is the sideways tube of the bike that the bottom bracket fits into. On a mountain bike it is going to be 68 or 73mm. Then measure the spindle length in MM- typically 113 or 118 for Power Spline.
