Yeah, I'd agree with you on that. I have an '03 Marlin and if I were selling it, I would probably ask around that price. But, I'm not selling it because I like it so much.
That really depends on the condition of the bike (how often was it used?). If it is hammered, no way. If it was barely ridden, that is a good price. More important on a bike like that is fit. If it is not the right fit, it is always going to be the wrong price. If you are buying it, test fit Gary Fisher bikes to find out what size you need.
