Do u guys know a mountain gt bike for under than 200 dollars? Looking for bike in the less than $200 range is going to be dodgy. You'll be very lucky to find anything worth a darn. I would save a bit more and get something starting at around $400. I know this is disappointing when you want something right now, but it's well worth investing a little extra. If your budget just wont allow for more, then get whatever you can, because riding something is much better than riding nothing. Hope you get it sorted. Good luck. Other than used, there will be no good mountain bike for $200.00 bucks. Anything you buy will literally fall apart the first time you ride it and will not be worth the money. If you really want a good bike, start at $600.00 and figure you'll spend around $800.00. Of find a used. Police auctions are a great source. M. I would definitely recommend you look at used bikes if $200 is your budget, you might be surprised at the quality available. Check out Ebay or wherever, just to get an idea of whats available. It would also probably help your search if you consider other brands in addition to GT, just more options ya know? go to the GT website and find one you like. then scope out craiglist and ebay. you'll usually find em for half the price, used of course, but that just means they're tested and you know it works. lol |
