Would anyone be interested in a retro bike website / magazine? |
Hi we have been working on this and just wondered what everyone thinks before its released? .I hold the copyright to a new website / and magazine that will focus on retro rides like a classic cars site / magazine but for the sole purpose of classic mountain bikes. It will go around visiting people and their machines pictures and interviews focusing on the riders and the bikes and not to make one person feel any better than anybody else. Just imagine seeing all those beautiful machines from the early days of mountain biking plus chatting to the owners and asking them what makes there bike the love of there life. A chance to see all those great bikes again like the Cannondale super v's Killer v's & SE 1000's.Also GT LTS , RTS , & STS + All the greats like early Kona's , Gary Fisher , Klein , Scott , Trek , And many, many more. Plus also addressing the modern mountain bike scene so come on guys let us know what you think me and the guys are very interested in what you think. What a fantastic idea i think that dealing with modern and retro is a great thing to do.What a wonderful idea to help people that have retro rigs find out info that they always struggled to get before.Fantastic i can't wait . no but that is only because i am not into retro biking sorry Yea! cool, it sounds really great. Great idea you've got ! How about featuring the below 1) the evolution of mountain bikes, forks ,the suspension used on full sussers and the materials used in bike building . 2) brand names that have since faded away . 3) brand names that are still around and the impact they had made in cycling history . (e.g. use of carbon fiber on bicycles) I can't think of any more right now but I'm pretty excited already ! Please post the address once it's up and running ! I'll be waiting for it !
