Mountain bike shopping.? |
So I'm gonna be getting a new mountain bike in the next week. Just looking for some tips on what to look for when I'm buying, how it should fit to me, and any good brands to look for. Is McKinley any good? Any feedback is great. And I don't want to spend any more then $200. For what you are looking to spend most bikes are going to be very similar. I have a 2006 Giant Boulder SE ($330.00) and have put over 600 miles on it in 10 months. I love this bike. It does everything I have asked it to and it never has let me down. $200 is not enough for a decent mountain bike in my opinion. do not fall in the walmart bike's trap. spend $300 and get a brand name. trust me if it worth the extra $100 |
