Need a good mountain bike under $600.00 Any brands or models in mind? |
Yes, I have about 600 bucks that I plan on using on a quality mountain bike. DISC BRAKES ONLY. I prefer dual suspension but hard tail is fine. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks! Take a trip to your local bike shop, all the major brands offer a hard tail in your price range. Just stay away from box stores. The bicycle business is so competitive today that any two bikes at the same price point are very likely to be equivalent values. Go to your local bike shop and see what they have to offer for your $600. Test ride the bike. Go to as many other shops and test ride as many other bikes as you can. Pick the one that fits and feels the best. You should be able to tell that very soon after sitting on the seat and test riding for just a few minutes. Buy that bike because it is the one you will enjoy and use the most, no matter what brand name is on it. Ignore marketing hype and fancy brochures. Pay attention to, but don't get hung up on component groups. wow i can't believe any one of the answers above answers your question. here are some bikes i found. hope these help: Huffy I got my Giant Yukon hardtail last summer for about $450 and I love it. |
