Has anyone gotten a basic mountain bike tune up at REI? |
I need to take my new Stumpjumper FSR mountain bike to get a tune up, and I was thinking about taking it to REI. Does anyone have any advice? If you have taken your bike to an REI, how long did it take to get the basic tune up done? Thanks. Honestly... I would never trust REI to tune up a bike or wax skis. They may not have the specialty skills necessary to work on either. REI hires people from the general population and 'trains' them to work in a given area. I can tell you for a fact that REI hires real bike techs for their shop so there is no worry about their competence. |
