Can a mountain bike have stunt pegs? |
Can a mountain bike have stunt pegs? As stated previously no, pegs will not work on a mountain bike for a number of reasons. The most important of those reasons is that he axle on a BMX bike is a lot thicker and able to support the stress of a person standing on the pegs. The axles on a regular bike are not nearly as sturdy and would never hold up to the stress of pegs. No. It can't be done on mountain bikes(not even on most single speed fixed gear types). They are primarily for BMX/Freestyle bikes. Why in the world would you want to ... unless.... No no NO! That being said I'm sure some idiot has tried it already and learned their lesson. You could put them on it, but it would not help you or the bike at all. I would not recommend it. |
