Im trying to convert my mountain bike to a one speed? |
will i have to buy any special parts.....i alredy took off my front derraliur but dont know hot to make my front sprocket only have one thing...also dont know how to replace my back sprockets to just get one On the cranks you only need the middle ring gear. In theory you could just get a chain that would fit over one of the sprockets on the pedal and the rear. The others would still be there, but the bike would essentially be a one-speed because the chain would be fixed into place. I don't know if this is the job for you. You don't really know the terminology that well. I can only assume you've never done much of this sort of thing before and you might have problems. |
