I recently bought a Iron Horse mountain bike a maverick. Is it suppose to have a kickstand?

All the info above about kickstands is correct. They can get in the way and the bike is more at a risk of falling and being damaged.

Instead, lean your bike against something or lay it on the ground, gears up. Can't fall if it is already on the ground, eh?

Mountain bikes doesn't come with kickstands. Although you might put one, they are just something waiting to get loose and tangled in something along the way.

I looked at a couple of models of them and none of them had a kickstand, I think its probably better off for the offroading its meant for.

Not really. You want your bike to be light. You don't really need a kick stand unless your worried about it touching the ground

my dad just bought one that was 800$ and it didnt come with one. but yours could be different.

you can probably put on on if you realy want it i guess
