Which mountain bikes to get??

I am looking to buy 2 mountain bikes for my girlfriend and I, just to go on occasional rides - obviously nothing too advanced but still reasonable - maybe 拢200 each at the very most. I really have no idea what to buy. Even if you could suggest a few brands, or maybe copy and paste a few suggested bikes from any websites. i'm just under 6 foot and my girlfriend is about 5. 6. thank you!!!!!

Buy the best bike you can find at your price range from an actual bikeshop.
When you want to upgrade it they will know exactly what you need.
Bikes built in a bike shop are worth the actual price of a proper tune-up+ the cost of the bike to you.
You can buy more for less at a chain store but the builder gets from 2.50-4.50 to do so.

i think u can never get a quality bike for less than 300 pounds new so get one second hand from a reputable bike shop ex-hire the people there will be very experienced and they will sell u quality bikes for probably less than 200 pounds

I would recommend the Fuji Boulevard, but I don't know if it's available in the UK.
