Where is a good place to buy a bike? |
I live in Denver, Colorado and I am in need of a good mountain bike, I am don't want to go completely broke on this but I do want a good one. Where is a good place to go? I agree with Shayne, however, I would lean toward checking with LBS (Local Bike Store) They can offer suggestions that the web sites cannot. They can also allow you to test ride bikes to give you a better fit. (Don't forget to bring a helmet, and I would check with more than one shop - see how they treat you) Unless you are going to do your own maintenance, it is a good way to establish a relationship with some people you trust to work on your bike. Support your local bike shops. Performance Bike Shop, for example, is at 2540 S. Colorado Blvd. Your local bike shops give you value beyond just the bike itself. There is making sure it fits you, is adjusted properly, and is appropriate for the kind of riding that you want to do. it all depends on what kind of bike you want to get. i suggest you look at your options before purchasing a bike. look on the company web sites and do a "dealer location" some good websites to look at for good bikes. Go to a shop the service they provide is priceless to enjoy a bike it must be the right size, they will fit you to your bike!
