All mountain bikes made in china? |
at the local shop all Trek and Gary Fisher are made in China-all of them have:stickers: on them with Made in China. No not all. Many are though. only the cheap Treks are made in china. The high end ones are made in the US Yea only the high end bikes get made here,,,the scary thing is that I tried to name 10 major items made in the USA, AND DO IT FAST, I stopped when I realized I could only name 3, but then even those have asian connections with parts and stuff...we used to be a wealthy supplier to the world, now we just consume what the world sells us, outsourcing good jobs for cheap labor to other countries....try going to the store and buying 10 items made here....were in a recession and unless we correct it soon (which I dont see happening) we are headed for doom. just my 2 cents here. mine was made in Italy and it's not a special mountain bike!! it's just a common one... |
