My bike is falling apart?!? |
Meh! My Huffy Stonehaven 24 inch boys mountain bike is falling apart on me! first, the pedal falls off! we got that repairs! Now the gear shifter tends to pop open sometimes and today the front brakes totally self destructed! Should i just drop some $$$ on a new bike? You can find some really nice used bikes. Just make sure they feel tight, and have no weird sounds, and you will have something better than your Huffy. yeah man....just get a new bike....urs sounds old...and after about 3 years u should replace it.. sorry, but you should have never bought a Huffy in the first place buy a real bike, check out Trek, Specialized, KHS, and Giant spend at least 500 to 600 bucks for quality go to your local bike shops, not Walmart, Kmart, etc. http://www.specialized.com Hey Jelly, Yep, time for a new bike. You will be wasting your money fixing the Huffy and it will probably end up killing you in the future. I can't believe I am going to say this but, go buy a Schwinn at Walmart, because it is a lot better than that your Huffy. Hope this helps. Yep, Huffy is a low end that will need constant upkeep, simply put they like to fall apart. Go to a shop or privately and get a descent bike, they hold their tune so much better. You bought a Huffy and it's falling apart? BOO-FRICKEN-HOO! Maybe you'll visit a good bike shop next! |
