What does the fork on your BMX bike do ??


I mean does it act like the suspensions on the Mountain Bikes ?? Is it as bouncy as the suspensions on the MTBs ??

I'm assuming the fork on your BMX bike has no shock, since you would be looking to go light and not have to worry about blowouts on landings. In that case, the front fork is there to hold the wheel in place and allow you to attach the headset and stem and bars, so you can control the bike.

If you have any sort of shock on the front, I honestly couldn't tell you what you would be using that bike for. Source(s): Bike Shop, Experience
BMX bicycles have no suspension. its to minimise the loss of energy and speed due to movement of the front fork. my front fork holds the front wheel on my BMX bike. on a road bike it holds the wheel and a front brake. on a mountain bike it usually has suspension a front brake, and holds the front wheel in place. best answer me if this helped
No. BMX fork does not act like the suspension on a MTB fork.

BMX fork got no suspension other then the flex for the fork.
