Where to buy branded good quality mountain bikes with a budget of $950-$1300? You might want to look at www.craigslist.com Find your region Click on "Bikes" under "For sale" Or, you can try Ebay. But I would say Craigslist. My bike was $1300 dollars in stores, I found it unused for $800 at Craigslist. W/tax, it would've cost $1,404. That's 43% off! Bicycle warehouse. San Diego Calif ....or Back Alley bikes. Most of the major bike manufactirers have websites (www.trekbikes.com., www.jamisbicycles.com, www.giant-bikes.com, www.cannondale.com, there are many others). They all have a dealer locator feature. Check out the websites to get an idea what you're looking for, then go to your local bike shop and talk with a knowledgable sales person and let them help you pick out what's best for you. Go to any of your local bike shops. Any of the brands they carry are of good quality. With a budget of 950-1300 you will get a very nice bike. Just don't buy it from Wal-Mart or a general sporting good store. Go to a bike-specific store. You should buy from a local shop that only sells bicycles. Do not buy from Walmart or Target or any store that sells more than just bicycles. To get the best bike for you, you should try several different brands and sizes. Once you have ridden enough one bike will "call you". I'ld go to your local shop. They'll definately have what you what and you can get a very good quality bike for that price. Look into specialized, giant, trek, kona and felt. they all sell awsome bikes in that range. Depending upon the riding you do will also impact what brand you get. |
