How to attach a mountain bike to a bike trainer? |
i have no idea how to set up my bike trainer I'm assuming you didn't but this brand new, or you'd have the instructions. Go to the manufactures web site and download the instructions. It will save a lot of time on getting it setup and the bike mounted correctly. It might help if you specify what type of trainer you have. It sounds like you have some type of a magnetic trainer, perhaps a CycleOps? If it is, it should have come with a certain quick release that fits into the trainer. This aligns with the grooves that connect the frame to the trainer. But to tighten or loosen it, there should be a twistable flat handle that can be loosened. Once that has been done, you can twist the Axle Rod into the proper position. |
