Theme to make a movie about cycling? |
i want to make a full length movie, between an hour to 1 1/2 hours long, with cycling as a theme. my friends and i do mostly mountain biking. i want an action style movie, not just something of us doing tricks and riding around town (already have one of those). something like james bond with a bike theme. nothing too complicated tho, ill be shooting on a Sony Handycam DVD camcorder. any ideas? Watch "Breaking Away"- you could redo that one but substitute mountain bike racing for track cycling. Or better yet, watch "Warriors" and adapt that to a biking theme. I think the CIA operative theme is going too far... make the issues local and more pertinant to the kids like a turf war or something. Two tag teams, leaving their mark around town? Bicycle Race by Queen just watch this movie and rip it off, no one remembers it anyway...well except me http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/quicksilver... Take the plot of any skiing or snowboarding movie and substitute downhill mountain biking - Instant cycle movie. Don't knock it; that's how most movies are made these days. There hasn't been anything original in the mainstream for years. Ask any cyclist if they have ever heard of RAGBRAI and they will tell you that a movie should be made about it. cia thing right, keep goin with that but the bad guy gets away car breakz down got a couple of bikes gotta chase the guy through the woods on your bikes sounds retarded but you could play off it and its not supposed to be serious right? oh if you live in boring ol CT like me try out millers pond, tons of technical freeride stuff hard, fun good place to film stuff |
